wedding is one of the most important celebrations in everyone’s life. Because of that, brides and grooms are on a look out for a perfect wedding venue months before their celebration starts. And when they find it… a place like
Hedsor House is definitely worth a wait.
The venue chosen by the couple lies in the picturesque Buckinghamshire. Originally dating back to the twelfth century, the location has a lot charm not only for a wedding but also a corporate event or a stroll in the local villages. Many great British wedding venues can be found in the vicinity, including the
Cliveden House, which is just a few kilometres away, or the Aynhoe Park, where we also recently executed flawless designs. Speaking of Hedsor House, imagine a gorgeous building on a May bank holiday, with the sun beaming through the whole day and you get a recipe for a perfect wedding day. Once you drive through the venue’s gates and start approaching the building, once you see the gardens, the interiors and you get the feel of the area, you will want to come back again and again.
Ideas
We connected with Sonya during our first phone conversation to discuss all her
floral ideas. It took us only a few days to present a concept that matched her idea and the look of this stately home. Although the pictures only show the final phase of our process, our journey was preceded by detailed moodboards, timetables, floral recipes during video calls and email exchanges. The bride opted for understated luxury with a garden touch which was reflected in all the
wedding flowers.
Blooms
We focused our efforts on creating a magnificent 20-metre-long flower staircase, decorated with
spring blooms. Sonya’s wedding bouquet was composed of a refreshing selection of late spring flowers including foxgloves, garden
roses, and hellebores tied with satin ribbons. Flower centrepieces decorating the dining room caught the feel of the day – light, understated, and refreshing. Lastly, the ceremony room could not escape the feeling of casual grandiose – trailing jasmine, large centrepieces and blooming roses. Simply perfect Hedsor House wedding flowers.
